- DIY Honey Mask
One of the simplest thing we can do with raw honey is to layer it on as a mask. Raw honey can help unclog pores while simultaneously deliver the moisture to parched skin.
How To Prepare :
- Clean the face with a mild face wash.
- Apply a thin layer of honey on the slightly damped face and massage in circular motion.
- Leave it on the skin for 20 minutes.
- Gently rinse it off with warm water.
- It leaves the skin so soft and supple.
- Honey As A Spot Treatment
Honey can be used by oily skinned people too. Instead of trying different pimple creams or lotions available which over dries even the oily skin. Raw honey can be used to lighten the scar marks which are left after pimples. The trick is apply only on pimples or whole face for having the soft and radiant skin. Leave the face with the mask overnight and in the morning after at least two weeks the scars will be smooth and become light and the skin too will become so soft. Stir one tablespoon honey with two tablespoons coconut oil until the mixture is spreadable consistency.
